Lavender Lentil Salad

Serves 8
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 45 minutes

1 C Green lentils
1 T Lavender gourmet seasoning *Buy this product
1 clove garlic crushed
3 C chicken stock or water
1 tomato medium dice
1 rib celery fine dice
2 scallions sliced fine, greens and whites
1/2 cucumber seeded and diced
2 T chopped parsley
1/2 cup Lavender Herb Dressing *Buy this product

Rinse and drain lentils. Bring lentils, stock, seasoning, and garlic to a simmer. Lower heat and cook covered until tender. Drain and cool. Mix with remaining ingredients and chill for 30 min.

 

Warm Lavender Potato Salad

Serving: 6 People.

4 large Russet baking potatos, peeled and diced
1 1/2 Tablespoon of dijon mustard
2 large shallots, minced
small bunch of chives
2 Tablespoons of Mayonaise
2 tablespoons of Lavender Herb Dressing *Buy this product
Salt and pepper to taste

Boil potatoes in a large pot. Mix ingredients in a large bowl and season to taste.

       
  Frisee Fruit Salad with Maui Lavender Dressing  

 

Yields approximately 10 servings

Ingredients:
10 oz Lavender Herb Dressing
*Buy this product
20 oz Frisee Lettuce
Tart Apples
5 oz Green Grapes
½ cup Chopped Walnuts
5 oz Blue Cheese

1. Clean and dry Frisee lettuce and chill till ready to serve
2. Cut grapes in half. Slice apples and preserve with lemon juice and chill
3. When ready to serve toss 20 oz of Frisee lettuce with 10 oz of Lavender Herb Dressing
4. Top with apple slices, grapes, walnuts, blue cheese and serve on a chilled plate.
