Lavender Honey

Lavender Honey

 $15.00

Hawaiian honey infused with lavender will bring a wholesome country taste into your home and its versatility makes it a convenient staple in every kitchen.

Honey is a superior alternative to processed sugars as it is low in saturated fats, cholesterol, and sodium. It is rich in amino acids, minerals, and Vitamin C and, because it tends to be sweeter than regular sugar, lesser amounts may be used. It also makes it an effective energy-booster.

Together, lavender and honey provide a doubly-rich source of health-promoting antioxidents.

Our lavender honey comes in a 7.5oz vacuum-sealed glass jar with a twist-top cap to preserve freshness.

Absolutely amazing! I bought this from Whole Food Market in Kahului it was a little pricier at $18.99 versus $15.00 straight from Alii Kula Lavender, but it's so worth it! I have bronchitis, I used this with a gypsy tea for respiratory and it worked wonders!!! Just the honey in water taste amazing. I was told by my doctor to purchase a local honey for my allergies she recommended Alii Lavender Honey as it taste really good with anything. The idea behind eating honey is kind of like gradually vaccinating the body against allergens, a process called immunotherapy. Although, there is no scientific research backing this. I can attest that it does help significantly. Honey contains a variety of the same pollen spores that give allergy sufferers so much trouble when flowers and grasses are in bloom. Introducing these spores into the body in small amounts by eating honey should make the body accustomed to their presence and decrease the chance an immune system response like the release of histamine will occur. If a regimen is undertaken, however, local honey is generally accepted as the best variety to use. Local honey is produced by bees usually within a few miles of where the person eating the honey lives. There's no real rule of thumb on how local the honey has to be, but proponents suggest the closer, the better.

Absolutely delicious! Great on plain toast, or with peanut butter, or on cereal/oatmeal. The honey by itself is really of high quality and the lavender just seems to intensify the taste of the honey.
