We absolutely love this product ever since visiting Ali's lavender garden years ago. It is the only rub we use for Chicken, Steaks and some fish.

We loved the previous formula that we purchased in a can. We used it on salmon and chicken and it was fantastic. We preferred it over the new formula. Let us know if the previous formula will be reintroduced.

I never had the "old" formula. But I am a huge fan of the current blend. I have used it on chicken, salmon and filet mignon. I have never been disappointed. My guests have raved about the dishes I have served using the seasoning. It is fantastic, and I highly recommend it. I will be ordering more as soon as I finish up my current stockpile.

Visited Maui 8yrs and this lavender farm is one of my fondest memories especially the tin of lavender rub I took home, best seasoning product I have ever had in my kitchen :) I understand the recipe has change which is a shame, as the saying goes "Don't fix it if it ain't broke"

When I was in Maui a few years ago, I bought some of this seasoning back with me in the pouch. It is fantastic. I never tried the old seasoning in the can that some of the commentors below have said but this stuff is delicious. I love all of your products.

I have written to you before about how bad the New Lavender Gourmet Seasoning taste. I don't know how your rating works but 4.44 is so far from the truth. As I said before I loved the old mix in the can that I bought while in at the Lavender Farm. I sent for 6 cans and once I used them up and gave some to my daughter who also loved them. When will you go back to the original mix? If and when you do please let all know. You can count on me to order it again the Seasoning again. Thank you, Ce Ce from Fla.

May I please have the recipe for the old seasoning since you're not using it any longer.I could not believe the upset people in my home thousands of miles from Maui telling me about the changed recipe that they had purchased while in Maui at the farm.We sampled some from my old tin stock and cooked an identical piece of salmon with the new seasoning on it.I don't think i have to tell you which one tasted like it came from Walmart? The old recipe made anyone into a five star chef, while this one makes dinner guests uncomfortable. Why wreck a good thing? or better yet why don't you offer both recipes. You're losing a huge amount of tourism and income the way I see it with all the disgruntle people on this page including myself and friends. I'm not gonna beg you to bring it back like others, but i think you owe an explanation to all of die hard fans why the miracle seasoning had to go away? Thanks for your time

I'm rating this a 1 just because I want to express my disappointment that you changed the recipe. I have used many cans since visiting the farm in 2009. I will NOT order any more based upon reviews of your new recipe. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK and let us know when you do. It WAS my absolute "go to" spice (especially good on fillet mignon!)
